Heilendi Practice Flu Clinics

We would like to remind our patients that we still want you to contact us if you or your family have any symptoms you are worried about. In the first instance we will arrange a telephone appointment for you and your GP may then arrange a face to face appointment if this is required. We are also continuing to use Attend Anywhere should a video consultation be appropriate.

If you do visit the surgery you will see we continue to have measures in place to maintain social distancing. Our clinical staff will now be wearing plastic aprons, gloves and a face mask for all appointments. It is not essential for you to wear a face mask to your appointment.

We continue to ask everyone to phone us with prescription requests or use the online ordering system. Please do not drop anything off at reception unless we have asked you to do so.

We tHank you again for your ongoing co-operation with these changes. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call us on 888270.

We are taking measures to safeguard our patients and reduce any potential spread of the coronavirus (also known as COVID-19). We also want to ensure our staff are protected as much as possible so we are able to continue to care for our patients.

From Monday 16th March all of our GP appointments will be carried out over the telephone in the first instance. If you are then required to be examined this will be arranged by your GP. Nurse appointments will continue as planned (unless it can be done over the telephone) but we will contact you beforehand to ensure you do not have symptoms of COVID-19.

If you are invited to attend the practice we are asking patients to limit the amount of time they spend at the surgery as much as possible. Therefore we are advising patients not to arrive early for their appointments, only bring someone with you if you need help, and children should only attend with one adult and no siblings.

All prescription requests should be done over the telephone. Any sick notes or letters will be posted out to patients and should not be collected at the practice.

We would like to thank patients for cooperating with us during these uncertain times as we all have a vital role in preventing the spread of this virus.
