For Heilendi Practice patients, please allow a minimum of 4 days before collecting your prescription from your nominated chemist. Therefore:

Alternatively you can collect your prescription form Heilendi Practice. Please allow 2 days before doing so.
For North Ronaldsay and Shapinsay patients, please allow a week to ensure we can deliver the medication back your practice in good time.
We ask you not to telephone your requests to Heilendi unless you are housebound. This will greatly help us to provide you with an efficient service and reduce the chance of errors occurring over the phone.
We are unable to issue repeat prescriptions to new patients before they have been seen by one of the GPs. If you are on repeat medication please ensure that you make an appointment well in advance of your medication running out.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
